Court officials said a Norwalk gang member accused of possessing a loaded handgun with an obliterated serial number was sentenced to prison.
NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk gang member accused of possessing a loaded handgun with an obliterated serial number was sentenced to 37 months in prison Thursday, U.S. Attorney for Connecticut Vanessa Roberts Avery announced in a news release.
According to court documents and statements made in court, the FBI's Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force has been investigating gang violence in Bridgeport, Norwalk and Stamford.
In 2021 and 2022, law enforcement officers made four controlled purchases of ecstasy, which contained both MDMA and fentanyl, from Patrick Elmore, 33, of Norwalk, who Avery noted is a member of a violent Norwalk street gang.
