Norwalk Man, 18, Charged with Felony Assault After March 3 Stabbing

After the victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries last week, Norwalk police charged the man with felony assault.

Among four males arrested last week on charges of second-degree breach of peace after a fight in which a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds, one of the four has now been charged with a more serious crime.

At 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, a large fight at the intersection of South Main Street and Grove Street was reported to police.

After the initial four arrests, police detectives investigated the incident further and sought an arrest warrant for Nasir Hilliard, 18, of Fairfield Avenue, charging him with first-degree assault, a felony. Prosecutors and a judge approved the warrant, and Hilliard was told it had been issued.
