Norwalk Man, 19, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor Arrested: Police

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of sexually assaulting a minor was arrested Thursday, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said Bryan Flores-Calero, 19, of Norwalk, was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

According to Podgorski, an investigation was launched after a family member learned the minor had been sexually abused and reported the incident to police in November.

An arrest warrant for Flores-Calero was issued Thursday, and officers found him out driving his vehicle in Norwalk that same day, according to Podgorski.

His bond was set at $50,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, Podgorski said.
