Man Accused Of Robbing, Assaulting Acquaintance Arrested: Norwalk Police
A 19-year-old Norwalk man accused of assaulting and robbing an acquaintance of $3,000 was arrested this week, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of assaulting and robbing an acquaintance was arrested Wednesday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said officers received a report of a robbery that occurred sometime overnight.
A man told police he was assaulted and robbed of $3,000 while at his home, Evarts said.

According to Evarts, the man and an acquaintance, later identified by police as Boston Leger, 19, of Norwalk, were hanging out at the man's home when a scuffle broke out, during which Leger assaulted the man and stole his money.
Police detectives later found Leger at his home in Norwalk. He was charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree assault.

His bond was set at $30,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Evarts.
