Norwalk Police Name Officer Of The Month For February
The officer's actions led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the arrest of a convicted felon with an illegal firearm.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Police Officer Jonathan Branciforte has been named the department's Officer of the Month for February, in part due to actions during two motor vehicle stops, according to officials.
"Ofc. Branciforte’s continued proactive policing resulted in two separate motor vehicle stops that led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle with its VIN changed and the arrest of a convicted felon with an illegal handgun," officials wrote in a statement.
"Both incidents exemplify Ofc. Branciforte’s dedication to public safety, sharp investigative instincts, and the ability to manage high-risk encounters with professionalism and control."
