NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools will partner this week with a number of community organizations to distribute 200 boxes of food to support area families.
According to a news release provided by the school district, NPS will be distributing 200 boxes of food to support "families across the district and community" in partnership with the Norwalk Federation of Educational Personnel, Norwalk Federation of Teachers, Norwalk Association of School Administrators and Blessings of Hope.

The distribution will take place Monday at Jefferson Marine Science Elementary School, located at 75 Van Buren Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Families arriving for a box of food will use the upper level bus loop on Grandview Avenue. The boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the district.

"We hope this food distribution can bring some relief to our families most in need," NPS officials said in a news release.
