Norwalk Public Schools To Host 'Say Yes To Prom Dress, Suit' Events
During the events, juniors and seniors can come to the NPS Family Center and try on free dresses and suits they can wear to prom.
NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools will host its second annual "Say Yes to a Prom Dress and Suit" events this spring beginning this weekend.
According to a news release provided by the district, the NPS Family Center is extending its collection to suits and tuxedos for the 2025 prom season to help more students look and feel great on prom night.
During the events, NPS juniors and seniors can come to the family center, located at 1 Park Street in Norwalk, and try on free dresses and suits they can wear to prom.

There is no cost for the dresses or suits, according to the district.
Attendees can also enjoy music and refreshments for free as they look for their perfect prom dress or suit, district officials said.

The event will kick off Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with similar events held the following Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.:

- April 17
- April 24
- May 1
- May 8
"Norwalk Public Schools wishes to thank the Norwalk community for their generous donations of formal wear," district officials said in a news release, "including dresses, gowns, suits and tuxedos as well as shoes and accessories."
