NY Man Arrested After Police Search Norwalk Vape Shop: PD
Police said they arrested a New York man and seized illegal cannabis products while executing a search warrant at a vape shop in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — Officers arrested a New York man and seized a number of illegal cannabis products after executing a search warrant at a Norwalk vape shop Monday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said officers executed a search warrant at Wally's Convenience and Tobacco/Smoke Shop on Westport Avenue, during which "many illegal cannabis products were discovered and seized from the premises."
Police arrested Ayat-Allah Nagi Mohamed Alsaidi, 21, of the Bronx, N.Y., who Evarts noted had been staying at the store for two weeks prior to the arrest.

Alsaidi was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of restrict of substances regulated and illegal sale of cannabis. He was also charged with illegal sale of cannabis for a separate case.
His bond was set at $5,000 for the first case and $5,000 for the second case, and he is scheduled to appear in court for both cases next month, according to Evarts.
