Common Council At Large
What town do you live in?
Norwalk
Party Affiliation:
Republican
Occupation:
Vice President, Product Management and Marketing
Family:
I’m proud to be the father of two Norwalk High School graduates. My son, Vincent, is now a college senior studying Mechanical Engineering, and my daughter, Juliette, is a college freshman pursuing Nursing. They both make me incredibly proud and remind me why investing in Norwalk’s future matters so much.
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No.
Previous public office, appointive or elective:
No.
Why are you seeking this office?
I’m running for the Norwalk Common Council At-Large because I believe Norwalk has the potential to be one of the most desirable, safe and livable cities in Connecticut. As a long-time resident and parent of two local graduates, I’ve seen firsthand what works and what doesn’t.
I’m committed to bringing transparency in government, protecting our neighborhoods, and improving the quality of life for every resident. I’ll take a practical, independent approach to enforcing zoning laws, eliminating blight, easing traffic and ensuring development strengthens our community—not overwhelming it.
My goal is simple: protect the character of our neighborhoods, improve our quality of life, and make sure city government works for the people it serves.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is the lack of responsible planning and accountability in how our city is being developed and managed. Too often, decisions are made without considering how they affect traffic, safety, neighborhood character, and affordability. I intend to push for responsible development that strengthens Norwalk rather than strains it—by enforcing zoning laws fairly, improving traffic flow, investing in infrastructure, and ensuring that developers share in the cost of improvements that benefit them. My goal is to make Norwalk a city that grows the right way—safely, responsibly, and with residents’ interests first.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The biggest difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m not a politician — I’m a problem-solver. As an engineer and long-time Norwalk resident, I approach issues with logic, fairness, and a focus on results, not politics. I’m not running to advance a party agenda; I’m running to make Norwalk work better for everyone. I believe in accountability, transparency, and common-sense solutions to everyday problems like traffic, overdevelopment, and rising costs. My goal is to ensure that Norwalk grows responsibly, remains affordable, and continues to be a great place for families to live.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
In addition to responsible development and accountability, I intend to focus on improving public safety, easing traffic congestion, addressing blighted and neglected properties, and ensuring that city services work efficiently for everyone — including condo and multi-family residents who often get overlooked. I also want to make Norwalk more affordable by demanding fiscal responsibility and smarter spending. My goal is to strengthen the quality of life in every neighborhood and make city government more responsive, transparent, and focused on the needs of residents, not special interests.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I’ve built a career on solving problems through practical, results-oriented thinking. As an engineer and business professional, I’ve successfully managed complex projects, balanced budgets, and delivered real results — skills that translate directly to effective city leadership. In addition, I served as president of the Rolling Ridge Condominium Association, the second largest condo community in Norwalk, where I worked to improve infrastructure, control costs, and strengthen communication between residents and the city. These experiences have prepared me to handle the responsibilities of the Common Council At-Large and deliver for Norwalk residents with accountability and transparency.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I’ve received is that you shouldn’t just bring a problem — you should bring solutions, and be ready to explain why they’ll work. As an engineer, that mindset comes naturally to me. I believe problems don’t get better with time, and the only way to solve them is to understand them clearly and define what success looks like. That’s how I approach challenges in my professional life and that’s how I’ll approach issues on the Common Council — with logic, accountability, and a focus on practical solutions that make Norwalk stronger.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I care deeply about Norwalk because it’s been my home for over three decades. I’ve raised my family here, served as president of one of the city’s largest condominium associations, and seen firsthand how decisions at City Hall affect everyday residents. I’m running to bring common sense, accountability, and balance back to local government. I believe in responsible growth, safer streets, fiscal responsibility, and a city that listens to its residents. I’m not a politician — I’m a problem-solver who wants to make Norwalk better for my family and yours.
