Karla Y. Mejia Sanchez, 42, of Norwalk: Karla was an active member at St. Joseph's Church in Norwalk and spent countless hours volunteering at church events and masses.

Robert Joseph Farris, 58, of Norwalk: As a lifetime "Norwalker," Bob was special to so many people and his impact went far beyond his immediate family. He was a tow truck driver and then became a Shop Manager at Hannes Precision Industry, which he loved so much.

Dr. Robert T. Dowling, 102, of Norwalk: Bob played hockey for the Home Oil Hockey Club into his 40s, the Inter-city Touch Football league into his 50s and competed in the National Senior Olympics in both track and swimming in his 70s, winning the silver medal in the 50-meter swim in 1997.

Mark Anthony Mones, 70, of Norwalk and Southbury: A longtime resident of Norwalk, Mark had multiple careers during his lifetime, most recently as a custodian of the Norwalk Public School until his retirement.
