Nancy Inez Burr, 90, died on Mar. 14, 2025, at Wilton Meadows; she worked for Yankee Metal for many years and spent over 20 years in the Silvermine Elementary School cafeteria, was an avid reader, cook, and bingo player, and had a talent for creating beautiful, artistic pieces and delicious recipes.

Elizabeth Ann Dunne, 86, died on Mar. 9, 2025; she worked for Fortune 500 companies but dedicated much of her life to church service and philanthropy, contributing to St. Matthew Church in Norwalk for over 40 years through various roles, including the Rosary Society, St. Martha's Hospitality, and parish office, and was awarded the St. Augustine Medal of Service and the Benemerenti Medal for her contributions to the church.

Nancy Yetta Dorris (née Haliczer), 77, died on Mar. 11, 2025; she earned her master's in social work and dedicated her career to social services while also being an artist, storyteller, avid reader, and fierce feminist, known for repurposing overlooked objects into art and conversation pieces.

César Augusto Cruz, 51, died on Mar. 15, 2025; he had a successful career in Asset Protection, was passionate about serving his community and deepening his walk with Christ, and was known for his warm spirit, infectious laughter, and dedication to his family.

John A. Vigilante, 94, died on Mar. 15, 2025; a U.S. Navy veteran and Iona College graduate, he had a distinguished career in education and law, founding a respected paralegal program at Norwalk Community College, while also being an adventurer, entrepreneur, and active community member involved with the Sons of Italy, St. Matthews Catholic Church, and the Lions Club.

Dorothy "Dee" Frank, 96, died on Mar. 14, 2025, at Norwalk Hospital; after working for Charles of the Ritz in South Norwalk, she dedicated herself to homemaking, enjoying decorating, renovating, cooking, baking, shopping, and attending Broadway shows.
