Substitute Teacher Accused Of Sending Students 'Inappropriate Messages': Norwalk Police
A Norwalk middle school substitute teacher accused of sending inappropriate messages to students was recently arrested, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk middle school substitute teacher accused of sending students "inappropriate messages" was arrested Friday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said an investigation began after the department received a report in September of a middle school substitute teacher sending inappropriate messages to students.
After an extensive investigation that included many interviews, digital forensic examinations and the execution of search warrants, police identified Richard Lovallo, 64, of Stamford, as the suspect, according to Podgorski.

Lovallo was arrested on a warrant Friday at his home with the help of Stamford police, Podgorski said.
Lovallo was charged with two counts of risk of injury/impairing morals of a minor and two counts of harmful communication with a minor.

His bond was set at $150,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to Podgorski.
