Three Teenagers Arrested in Connection with Bomb Threat at Wolfpit Elementary School

Two boys and a girl were charged in connection with vandalism and a threat one of them is accused of leaving on a desk in the school.

Norwalk Police arrested three 15-year-old juveniles in connection with a bomb threat at Wolfpit Elementary School.

The school was evacuated for a time Wednesday as a result of the bomb threat, which was written on a desk in the school. According to an article in The Hour, relyng on information from a police spokesman, the three teenagers entered the school through an unlocked door Tuesday and one of them wrote the bomb threat on a desk.

“Information was gleaned from a community member that led them [police] to the suspects,” according to an announcement today from the Police Department.

The three were arrested Thursday. According to the article in The Hour, two boys and a girl were arrested: The girl was charged with second-degree criminal trespass; one of the boys was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal trespass; the other boy was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, breach of peace and conspiracy.

The threat was discovered when the school opened on Wednesday, and school officials also found graffiti throughout the school, according to the newspaper.
