Upcoming Road Construction Work Announced In Norwalk: CT DOT
The work is slated to begin on March 21 and will be completed by October 21.
NORWALK, CT — Road Construction work on Route 7 and Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) in Norwalk is slated to begin on March 21, and will last through Oct. 21, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The pavement preservation work will result in temporary lane closures both north and south on the two roads.
"This project will include milling, paving, and the replacement of guardrails, curbing, sidewalks, and intersection equipment," Norwalk officials posted on Facebook.

"We ask that drivers drive slowly through construction zones and adhere to any on-site traffic personnel and detour routes. Traffic signs and State Police will guide drivers through work zones. Drivers should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions."

Route 7 North and Southbound
There will be lane closures from 3/21 to 10/21, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Ramps will be closed from 3/21 to 10/21, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Route 15 North and Southbound
There will be lane closures from 3/21 to 10/21, 2025 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Ramps will be closed from 3/21 to 10/21, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
