Body Found In Griswold Woods: Police

The discovery was made Saturday morning, according to police.

GRISWOLD, CT — A body was found in the woods in Griswold Saturday morning, Connecticut State Police said.

According to police, troopers responded to the area of Kenwood Road around 9:23 a.m. after human remains were found in the woods.

A manner and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office and there is no threat to the public. Police have not identified the victim.
