How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

He proved that Norwich cares about the future enough to elect him. By showing that he cares about everyone and having some very smart ideas about the direction Norwich needs to go, he overcame the racism that some community members have.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

He listens. He has empathy. He is smart. He is extremely hard-working and knows how to achieve results. He brings people together rather than creates divisions.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Singh is a true leader who works for all Norwich residents than just a few.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

Its diversity.
