Two Amity Regional High School students were recently named winners of college-sponsored scholarships.
ORANGE, CT — Two Amity Regional High School students were recently named as winners of college-sponsored Merit Scholarships.
Pranav Sundararajan of Orange earned a scholarship from the University of Alabama. Sundararajan intends to study computer science.
Robert M. Farbman of Woodbridge earned a scholarship from Fordham University. Farbman intends to study political science.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently named 1,200 additional winners of scholarships financed by colleges and universities. Another 2,600 winners were announced in June.
College-sponsored awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
