Colonial Properties Negotiates Windowrama Lease

From Colonial Properties: Michael Richetelli, President and Designated Broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., is pleased to announce the successful negotiation of a lease on the Post Road in Orange.

Kevin Weirsman, Vice President of Commercial Sales at Colonial Properties, Inc., represented the Landlord, Prime Realty LLC, in negotiating a (5) five year lease with Windowrama of New Haven, Inc. at Orange Commons, 297 Boston Post Road in Orange, CT. The 4,000 SF +/- retail space was previously occupied by United Illuminating's “Smart Living Center.” Windowrama has been operating in Orange for almost thirty (30) years and will be relocating from 516 Boston Post Road, Orange. The new space at 297 Boston Post Road will allow for a bigger store and showroom. Windowrama will join Wells Fargo Bank, Coldstone Creamery, Red Wing Shoes and Great Expressions Dental, a national family dental care provider, who recently signed a lease for the former Aspen Dental space in the plaza.

“Although this space was vacant for longer than anticipated, we believe we have found the ideal user. Windowrama has been a staple in Orange for 3 decades and will be a great anchor tenant for Orange Commons", said Richetelli.
