Evelyn Sidoti of Orange Celebrates Her 100th Birthday with Senator Slossberg

From the Connecticut General Assembly:

ORANGE, CT – “My mother always told me you wish someone a happy birthday first thing in the morning,” said Senator Gayle Slossberg (D-Milford) as she presented a state citation to Evelyn Sidoti this morning. Today is Sidoti’s 100th Birthday, and Slossberg greeted her with a citation from the entire State Senate, congratulating her on reaching 100 years old.

“Evelyn Sidoti is a vibrant, enthusiastic member of our community and I am very grateful that she and the staff at the Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center invited me to celebrate this special occasion with them,” said Senator Slossberg. “All the nurses told me that they love having Evelyn around, bringing her positive spirit to every day. A 100th birthday is an incredible accomplishment, and I’m glad I could be there to help kick it off.”

The legislative citation presented by Slossberg recognized Evelyn Sidoti for “The momentous occasion of your 100th Birthday. As you are surrounded by family and friends on this special day, may you find strength, joy and fulfillment and returned goodness to all whose lives you have touched. We wish you all the best for many more years of health and happiness.”
