Jennifer Leigh Musante, 52 of Milford, passed away on May 11, 2025

Beloved Mother. She loved attending local concerts, diving into arts and crafts projects, spending time with friends, & walking the beach.

Jennifer Leigh Musante, 52 of Milford, passed away on May 11, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer was born on February 15, 1973, in Bridgeport, CT, to Frederick Musante and the late Linda LaLuna Tschilske.

A lifelong resident of Milford, CT, Jennifer graduated from Jonathan Law High School and earned her CNA certification shortly after. At just 18 years old, she began working as a certified nursing assistant at Civita at West River Nursing Home—a role she held with pride and unwavering dedication for over 32 years. She treated every patient with dignity, kindness, and heartfelt compassion.

Jennifer found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved attending local concerts, diving into arts and crafts projects, spending time with friends, and walking the beach with her niece and sister-in-law. A passionate sports fan, she could often be found cheering for the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.

Above all else, Jennifer treasured her time with her sons. Whether she was leading their Cub Scout troop, supporting them on the sidelines of their games, or simply talking with them, her love and devotion were ever-present. Known for her heart of gold, Jennifer was always the first to offer help to someone in need and brought warmth and generosity to everyone around her.

Her legacy of love, service, and selflessness will live on through all those whose lives she touched.
Jennifer is survived by her two beloved sons: Frank Musante and Michael Musante, father Frederick Musante, step-father Robert Tschilske, brother Frederick Musante Jr., sister-in-law Christine Musante, and niece Courtney Musante. Aunts and uncle: Kathy Lawruszko, Raymond LaLuna, Diane LaLuna, and Cheryl Mavrakis. Her four cherished canine companions: Walker, Hope, Theo, and her sidekick Reagan. As well as many additional beloved cousins, family, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday May 18, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave, Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in the Mausoleum, 2675 North Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
