July 4th Fireworks Postponed In Orange Due To Weather: UPDATE

UPDATE: "Due to the expected weather tomorrow, the town and event organizers of the concert and fireworks scheduled for tomorrow, July 2nd has been POSTPONED. They will occur next Sunday, July 9th," town officials said in a social media post on Saturday.

Orange, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Orange for 2023.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in and around Orange:

This year, Orange will hold its Annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks show on Sunday, July 9, starting at 6:30 p.m., with the firework starting after the concert at 9:30 p.m., at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road. Admission is free.

Food trucks will be at the event, and novelty items will be available at the fairgrounds at 6 p.m.
