Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Daniel Thornberg: Total Lawn Care was founded in 2010 and has since grown into one of the top landscaping maintenance companies in Southern Connecticut.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Daniel Thornberg: Total Lawn Care has been in business for 15 years and currently services Milford, Orange, Woodbridge, and West Haven commercial and residential clients.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Daniel Thornberg: I started TLC with a push mower and a dream while attending Southern Connecticut State University as a sophomore. Up until that time I had always worked in the construction field and decided that landscaping would offer a more easily scalable model. Although entering into the landscaping field was relatively easy, I had quite the learning curve ahead of me!

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Daniel Thornberg: Building a great lawn and landscape takes time and dedication. The more love you put in, the better and more rewarding the result will be for years to come.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Daniel Thornberg: The most satisfying part of my job is building relationships and a community around both my employees and clients. Being able to watch my employees families grow and thrive because of the opportunity that Total Lawn Care allows for is what drives me and keeps me focused on a daily basis.
