Obituary: Annabelle Errico Kelly, 95, formerly of Orange
Annabelle, devoted wife and mother, previously served as a nurse at Saint Raphael in New Haven and for the VA Hospital in West Haven.

ORANGE, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Annabelle Errico Kelly of St. Augustine, Fl and formerly Orange, CT and South Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Born in Naugatuck, CT on October 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Doris Vellturo Errico and Domenic Errico, and wife of the late Frederick ‘Bud’ Kelly, mother of the late Doreen Mary Kelly and grandmother of the late Kevin Fisher.
She was also predeceased by son-in-law Richie Johnson and daughter-in-law Liz Kelly. She leaves two sons, Fredrick Kelly (Lori) and Daniel Kelly and four daughters, Denise Kelly (Peter), Marianne Kelly, Kim Kelly Fisher (Kimm) and Jill Johnson. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Katy Fisher, Derek Johnson, Kelly Martin, Dan DiBisceglie, Kyle Johnson, Sean Johnson, Daniel J. (DJ) Kelly and Megan Kelly and four great-grandchildren, Parker and Annabelle Martin and Everly and Jack DiBisceglie.
She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Moore (late Everett ‘Mort’ Moore) and too many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to recount.
In 2014, Annabelle and high school friend Bill Ahern were reunited and spent six years enjoying each other’s company before Bill’s passing on October 16, 2021. Our family grew to love Bill and truly appreciated the tender loving care he gave our mom.
Annabelle attended nursing school at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury as part of the cadet program during World War II. As an RN at St. Mary’s Hospital, she went on to marry the love of her life, Frederick ‘Bud’ Kelly, upon his return from serving in WWII with the US Coast Guard.
Prior to her retirement to their home in South Dennis, Cape Cod, Annabelle was a nurse at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven and then the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth Street, Derby at 11:00 a.m.
