Beatrice M. Monopoli, 92, of Orange, CT, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023. Born on November 6, 1930, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Lennick. Beatrice was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Beatrice grew up in Scranton, PA and moved to Milford, CT with her husband in 1953.

She worked at A&P and then went on to work at Burndy Corporation in Milford, CT. She loved her family and spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatrice loved Bingo, watching the water at the beach and vacations up north.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, MaryAnn Spangler of Milford, grandson, Ronald Spangler of NC, grandson, Michael Spangler of Hamden, grandson, Casey and Adrianne Spangler of FL, granddaughter, Sandra and Michael Mangan of Oxford, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sister, Connie Weisel, of Burlin and many nieces and nephews.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, Sante Monopoli, Son in law, Ronald J. Spangler, sisters: Ann Ramakis, Mary Schonleber, Evelyn Leon, Rose Renda, and Elizabeth Vaicekauskas, brothers: Albert Lennick, Joeseph Lennick, and Peter Lennick. Family and Friends are invited to gather on Thursday the 12th of January from 2:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Cody White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private.
