Obituary: Marilyn Jean Brady, 92, of Orange

Marilyn Jean Brady, age 92, of Orange, entered into peaceful rest on September 7, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 17, 1933 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Brezina) Brady. Marilyn was an active member of the Milford Christian Church and a greeter for many years. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and loved tending to her garden and canning her harvest.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved children, Shawn O’Brien of Alexandria, Virginia, Michele O’Brien Tenney and her husband, Scott of Orange and Shay O’Brien of Killingworth. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Sharon O’Brien Whalen, TJ Aceto, Shaina Rowley, Harrison “Jake” Pollock, Sam Pollock and Collin Tenney and eight great grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Brianne “Brie” Rowley, her brother, Robert Brady and her sister, Millie Brady predeceased her.
