Oxford Superintendent Seeks Community Input Through Roundtable Discussions

Superintendent Dr. Ralph Marino Jr. is inviting parents and residents to share concerns and ideas during a public discussion.

OXFORD, CT — The superintendent of Oxford Public Schools is inviting residents to take part in a new series of public roundtable discussions aimed at hearing directly from parents and community members.

Superintendent Dr. Ralph Marino Jr. said the goal of the roundtables is to provide an open forum for residents to share concerns, raise issues, and discuss topics they feel are important to the Oxford school community.

The first roundtable is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Firehouse, located at 151 Coppermine Road in Oxford.

Additional sessions are already planned. A second roundtable will be held Monday, Feb. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Quaker Farms Firehouse. A March session is also planned at the Oxford Public Library, with the date to be announced. District officials said more evening roundtables will be scheduled later in the year.
