The community-focused bookstore describes its selection as “cozy reads for a chaotic world” and will stock titles across most major genres, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, romance, and cookbooks. In addition to books, the shop will sell gifts such as candles, chocolates, gift baskets, and other specialty items. The store is owned by Sharon and Charles Muir, avid readers and former English majors. The name, Teddy’s Best Reads, is a nod to the couple’s Aussie-lab mix.
Opening day hours on Saturday are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
