2 of Ridgefield's Bravest Retire After Decades of Selfless Service

Both men who are retiring served the Town of Ridgefield for more than three decades.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Professional Firefighters announced Friday that a longtime member of Local 1739 is retiring following Friday's shift.

Lieutenant/Deputy Fire Marshal Brian Jones served the town for 39 years, 10 as a police office and 29 as a firefighter.

Also retiring is Lieutenant Pete Drake who is retiring after 34 years of service to the Town of Ridgefield.
