How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

They are a community leader in our town, driving customers to the area with a quintessential Connecticut feel and a welcoming experience.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

Sitting among other vintage stores, Bluebird is a wonderful place to just browse and chat with the fabulous and knowledgeable owner, Dana, or some serious shopping for designer and vintage furniture, decor, and/or gifts. I bring my children to shop for their new homes and always find something for myself or a friend. It is so much more than a consignments shop, given the talent of its owner, the quality of the items, and the overall atmosphere where I always feel there is a rare gem just waiting to be found!
