Fall in Love with Ridgefield Downtown This Weekend

RIDGEFIELD, CT — As if you needed yet another reason to fall in love with this quaint and beautiful New England town, downtown merchants invite you to come and "Fall in Love with Ridgefield" at a weekend-long festival. Take a stroll down Main Street and check out the unique and colorful scarecrows and then vote on your favorite. Shop sales, grad a slice, satiate your sweet tooth and fall in love with our beautiful town all over again.

Friday, October 14 from 6-8:30 p.m.

• Haunted Hay Ride in Ballard Park sponsored by Ridgefield Parks and Recreation, Ridgefield Lions Club and the Boys and Girls Club
• The Yardbirds 8 p.m. The Ridgefield Playhouse

Saturday, October 15, 2016 10-5pm

• Window Painting presented by Parks and Recreation
• Pumpkin Painting from 12-2 p.m. on the green presented by Prime Burger
• Face Painting by Donatella 11-1 p.m. on the green presented by Prime Burger
• Balloon Artists 11-3 p.m. all over town
• RHS Jazz Band 2-4 p.m. Town Hall
• Scarecrow Contest all day downtown presented by Keeler Tavern
• Chili Contest 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. presented by Keller Williams
• Flu Shots 9:30-12 presented by Ridgefield VNA
• Les Julian music 11-11:45 a.m. at the library for children ages 7 and under
• Children’s book sale from 9 a.M. - 5 p.m. on the lower level of the library
• Free Jewelry Making Workshop presented by Sphere
• Family Printmaking Workshop at the Aldrich Museum 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for kids ages 2-5 , from 1-3 p.m. for kids ages 6-10, museum tour at 11 a.m.
• International Physique League 2nd Annual Pro/Am 11am The Ridgefield Playhouse
