Fall in Love with Ridgefield Downtown This Weekend

If you're not already in love with Ridgefield you may change your mind as merchants invite you to 'Fall in Love with Ridgefield.'

RIDGEFIELD, CT — As if you needed yet another reason to fall in love with this quaint and beautiful New England town, downtown merchants invite you to come and "Fall in Love with Ridgefield" at a weekend-long festival. Take a stroll down Main Street and check out the unique and colorful scarecrows and then vote on your favorite. Shop sales, grad a slice, satiate your sweet tooth and fall in love with our beautiful town all over again.

  • The Yardbirds 8 p.m. The Ridgefield Playhouse

Saturday, October 15, 2016 10-5pm

  • Window Painting presented by Parks and Recreation
  • Pumpkin Painting from 12-2 p.m. on the green presented by Prime Burger
  • Face Painting by Donatella 11-1 p.m. on the green presented by Prime Burger
  • Balloon Artists 11-3 p.m. all over town
  • RHS Jazz Band 2-4 p.m. Town Hall
  • Scarecrow Contest all day downtown presented by Keeler Tavern

  • Les Julian music 11-11:45 a.m. at the library for children ages 7 and under

  • Family Printmaking Workshop at the Aldrich Museum 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for kids ages 2-5 , from 1-3 p.m. for kids ages 6-10, museum tour at 11 a.m.
