Police: Juveniles Driving Twice Speed Limit Had Marijuana

Ridgefield Police pulled over a car at 10:18 p.m. Friday that was traveling 82 miles per hour in a 40-miles-per-hour zone.

Police said the car smelled of marijuana and that a search of the car revealed drug paraphernalia.

The two juveniles were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Their identities were not disclosed due to their age. 

They were given a court date of June 24 at Danbury Superior Court.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
