Free Christmas Tree Disposal Available For Ridgefield Residents

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Town of Ridgefield is offering residents free disposal of their Christmas trees.

The Christmas Tree Drop-off will be available at the town's transfer station on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists are advised to enter on the side of the scale so that the tree is visible to the attendant. All tinsel, lights, and decorations must be removed in advance. Do not bring other trash along, or you will be weighed as usual.

The town's transfer station is located at 55 South Street in Ridgefield.
