'Hard Decision': After 9 Months, Ridgefield Mail Room Closes Doors

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Mail Room is shuttering after nine months.

"To our valued customers and the Ridgefield community, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Ridgefield store. We met so many wonderful people since November but the traffic just wasn't there," store management posted to Facebook on Sunday.

The packing, shipping and printing company opened for business last November at 86 Danbury Road, in the space previously occupied by Edward Jones Investments.

"It was a hard decision and not one we took lightly, but you have to know when to walk away and that's what we decided. Look for us in the future in other spots possibly, and hope to see something great in the spot we occupied," store officials posted.
