Muse Squad And The Meetinghouse Launch Creative Writing Course For Ridgefield Seniors

Muse Squad and The Meetinghouse team up for a senior writing course inspired by Joni Mitchell, starting Aug. 26.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A new creative writing course tailored for seniors is set to launch this fall through a partnership between Muse Squad and The Meetinghouse in Ridgefield.

The 10-week program, scheduled for Tuesday afternoons from Aug. 26 through Oct. 28, will take place at The Meetinghouse at 605 Ridgebury Road. The course will explore storytelling, self-expression, and personal growth, drawing inspiration from the music and legacy of Joni Mitchell.

Muse Squad, founded by Brittney Richardson in 2022, is a writing program aimed at nurturing creative talent and encouraging literary exploration through group discussions, writing exercises, and engagement with classic works of music and literature.

This collaboration marks Muse Squad’s first initiative geared toward Ridgefield’s senior community. The course is designed to provide older adults with opportunities to connect, share personal experiences, and explore new dimensions of creative expression.
