Newtown Earth Day Festival Returns With Exhibits, Music And More
Newtown Earth Day Festival set for April 26 with live music, exhibits, crafts, and more at Newtown Middle School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown’s annual Earth Day Festival will return on Saturday, April 26, offering a day of environmentally focused fun for all ages. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Newtown Middle School and will feature live music, food, vendors, crafts, and educational exhibits.
Organized to celebrate the town’s natural resources and encourage eco-friendly living, the festival also supports a green college scholarship for a Newtown High School student. Attendees can explore a wide variety of activities, including Christine’s Critters’ Birds of Prey exhibition and the Energize CT “Energy in Action” mobile exhibit.
There will be a silent auction, and live music performances will take place on the Earth Day Stage throughout the day. The event is free and open to the public.
