Ridgefield, CT — Hundreds of area residents came out on Monday, July 4, 2016 to celebrate Independence Day at Ridgefield High School.

While parents and grandparents sipped beverages and noshed on chicken satay, crudite, brie and other homemade nibbles, children played frisbee, paddle ball and turned cartwheels in the field, awaiting the colorful displays overhead.
Patriotic music provided by Sound Investments played over the sound system as kids young and old did the limbo, enjoyed ice cream and waved glow sticks and bubble wands under the summer sky.
