Ridgefield Inland Wetlands Board Continues High Ridge Development Hearing
Ridgefield Inland Wetlands Board continues High Ridge project hearing to September and schedules site walks for wetlands violations.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Inland Wetlands Board on Aug. 14 postponed a public hearing on a proposed multifamily development at 145 High Ridge Avenue and scheduled several site walks to address wetlands violations at other properties.
The applicant, The Greylock Group LLC, requested additional time to prepare for its presentation on the project, which includes environmental remediation activities and construction within the upland review area. The hearing will resume Sept. 11. Board Chair Susan Baker recused herself from the application due to her residence near the site, with Vice Chair Tim Bishop assuming the role of chair for the matter.
The board also received three new applications involving wetlands violations at 25 Chestnut Hill Road, 1 Hidden Lake Court, and 12 Wooster Street. Site walks for Chestnut Hill and Hidden Lake are scheduled for Aug. 24, with all three applications set for discussion on Aug. 28. A separate site walk was scheduled for Sept. 7 at properties on Rowland Lane, East Ridge, and Market Street.
