Update: Ridgefield Lost Dog: Help Sawyer Find Her Way Home

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Update 11:50 a.m.: Sawyer has been found and is home safe!

Original post 7:45 a.m.: A Ridgefield resident is hoping the community can help reunite her with her lost dog who ran away at 6:45 a.m. Sawyer is a 4-month-old black and white female mixed breed with a long red leash on her collar.

She weighs approximately 25-30 pounds and is very timid, according to her owner. "She is incredibly shy of anyone she meets but if you see her, please chase her and return her to 46 Highview Road, phone number 203-438-7414," her owner told Patch.

She was last seen in the woods near Limestone, Great Hill, and Highview Roads.
