Ridgefield Police were called to the Copps Hill Plaza at 3:50 p.m. June 13 on the report of a hit and run accident. Police said witnesses not only described the driver, but they also described the car and its license plate. Police later charged the driver, Keven Brown, 37, Pond Road, Ridgefield, with evading responsibility and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Brown was released on a $5,100 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court June 14.
