Ridgefield Police pulled over a car at 1:15 a.m. Friday for speeding on Ethan Allen Highway. Police said the driver and the passenger were carrying less than a half-ounce of marijuana. The driver, Wesley Santos Coleho, 18, Danbury, and the passenger, a juvenile, were charged with possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coleho was also charged with speeding. The pair are scheduled to answer the charges in Danbury Superior Court on June 25.
