Ridgefield Police, Town Agree On Pay Increase: Report
The town and its police officers have agreed on a new police contract.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town and its police department have agreed upon a new police contract with 2.5 percent annual increases, reports the Ridgefield Press. Starting patrol officers in town would make $63,791, and the maximum captain's salary would be $123,135.
The 2.5 percent increases for police officers will cost around $87,500. The town and Ridgefield Police Union agreed to the new contract on Aug. 29.

The agreement also allows for a one percent increase in the employees' share of the health insurance premiums.
