Ridgefield Resident Gladys S. (Breckwoldt) Benn, 89, Passed Away

Ridgefield, CT — Gladys S.(Breckwoldt) Benn, 89, wife of Robert C. Benn Sr.; mother of Robert C. Benn Jr., Nancy Smith and the late Elizabeth Benn; sister of the late William Breckwoldt; grandmother of five and great grandmother of two, died on Monday afternoon, June 20, 2016 at Danbury Hospital.

Private funeral services will take place in the First Congregational Church, Ridgefield with the Rev. Dr. Charles Hambrick-Stowe officiating.

Burial will take place in Mapleshade Cemetery, Ridgefield. A Memorial Service will take place at a day and time to be announced. Contributions to the First Congregational Church of Ridgefield, 103 Main St., Ridgefield , CT 06877 would be appreciated.
