Ridgefield Station residents visited New Pond Farm in West Redding, interacting with and learning about rabbits, bees, turtles and lizards. We even got to enjoy some of the homemade honey made by the bees on the property! We then walked through the reptile preservation at the farm to see all sorts of different reptiles and animals in their habitats. Following the presentations and animals, we all enjoyed lunch together in the Native American exhibit portion of the building on the farm.
