Ridgefield Teen Caused Crash, Then Fled Scene, Police Say: Report
Police say the teen was found with damage consistent with the crash at a nearby residence.
WILTON, CT — An area teenager fled the scene of a car accident that police say he caused Saturday afternoon, reports the News Times. The Ridgefield teen pulled a u-turn in the Wilton Deli parking lot after trying to beat out southbound traffic turning into the deli.

The teenager fled north without making contact with the other driver. The teen was found on Pimpewaug Road, where the teen admitted to police he had been involved in an accident and left.
