Save the Date for Roar-Blue Buffalo's 'Paws for the Cause'
Ridgefield's ROAR and Wilton-based Blue Buffalo Co. are partnering to present "Paws for the Cause," a festival for dogs and their people.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield's ROAR and Wilton-based Blue Buffalo Co. are partnering to present "Paws for the Cause," a festival for dogs and their people. The event will be held on Sunday October 16, 2016 from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Ridgefield Recreation Center, Danbury Rd. Ridgefield.
The Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR) is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization that specializes in compassionate treatment and adoption of homeless pets. The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter is located at 45 South Street in Ridgefield, and offers dog and cat adoptions.
Blue Buffalo is a Wilton-based company that makes all natural dog food that does not contain any chicken or poultry by-products. They also do not use corn, wheat or soy in any of their recipes.

ROAR is open on the following days and times:
- Sunday: 12-2 p.m.
- Monday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Tuesday: Closed - by appointment only
- Wednesday: Closed - by appointment only
- Thursday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. & 6-8 p.m.
- Friday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. &6-8 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
