Small Oil Spill Cleaned Up In Ridgefeld: Report

Fire crews contained an oil spill in Ridgefield Monday morning.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Local firefighters contained a small oil spill after a car crash on West Lane Monday morning, reports the Ridgefield Press. Capt. Jeff Kreitz stated the spill was a result of damage from the accident.

Nobody was injured, but Fire Chief Jerry Myers told the publication that passing cars caused the oil to spread.

The crash occurred around 8:45 p.m.
