Swerving Ridgefield Man Arrested For DUI: Wilton Police

Police say the accused had a blood alcohol content over three times the legal limit.

WILTON, CT — A Ridgefield man was arrested for driving under the influence on the Wilton line Sunday night after police say he was seen swerving in traffic. Daryda Bogdan, 41, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to notify the DMV of a change of address.

Police say a 911 caller reported Bogdan's erratic driving at 9:35 p.m. Sunday night on Danbury Road in the area of Own Home Avenue. Officers administered field sobriety tests, which Bogdan allegedly failed to perform to standard.

The accused's blood alcohol content was registered at 0.2596, more than three times the legal limit. He was brought to Wilton police headquarters and held on a $260 bond.
