An Ellington man is facing charges in connection with the Friday crash on southbound Interstate 91 in Rocky Hill.

ROCKY HILL, CT — A woman is dead and several others were injured Friday night in a fiery rollover crash in Rocky Hill, according to police.
In a crash report, Connecticut State Police said the crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on southbound Interstate 91 near Exit 23. According to police, a car driven by 23-year-old Jacob Texidor of Ellington was traveling in the far left lane when it unexpectedly veered into another car driven by 26-year-old Jada Upshaw of Bloomfield.
The collision caused both cars to roll, police said. As a result, Upshaw's car collided with a third car driven by a 49-year-old North Haven woman. At least one vehicle involved in the crash was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived, according to the Rocky Hill Fire Department.
