Bus Catches Fire On Highway In Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT — The rear end of a bus burst into flames on a section of Interstate 91 in Rocky Hill Wednesday morning.

State police reported the incident at about 9:30 a.m.

The bus was unoccupied and was on the right shoulder on the southbound side of I-91 in the area of Exit 22, state police said.

No injuries were reported.

The right 2 lanes were closed while firefighters put out the blaze.
