Celebrity Field Announced For Travelers Championship Pro-Am

Bill Murray, Geno Auriemma, Doug Flutie and Tim Wakefield are among the celebrity players returning to Connecticut's annual PGA Tour stop.

CROMWELL, CT — Legendary comic actor Bill Murray, Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie and retired Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield are among the notables slated to tee off Wednesday in the Travelers Championship Celebrity Pro-Am.

Other celebrities scheduled to appear at the TPC River Highlands include Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Geno Auriemma; UConn coaches Chris Dailey, Mike Cavanaugh, Jim Mora and Nancy Stevens; ESPN broadcasters Chris Berman, Dan Orlovsky and Michael Eaves; actors Christopher Jackson and Dane DeHaan; and singer Javier Colon.
